In Pennsylvania, a Senate race is now underway. There are several Republican candidates running for the congressional seat, but two stand out, but for very different reasons.
Right now, it appears that Mehmet Oz will have an easy time winning (Dr. Oz). Yes, the Dr. Oz from the tv program. You may recall that he announced his candidacy for the Senate last year and revealed his conservative political views. I am quite pleased to hear that.
Dr. Oz is holding a strong lead and since he is actually pretty well-liked, he’ll likely win the primary at least, but probably the whole race.
The other person that stands out is Kathy Barnette. But as I said, she stands out for a different reason. Barnette was recently confronted on a tweet that she made in 2015 in which she said that “pedophilia is a cornerstone of Islam”.
Last week, during an interview with MSNBC, she was actually confronted about the tweet. Her reply was claiming that it was just a snippet and you can’t tell what someone meant by it with being limited to so few characters on Twitter and not knowing what the context was, etc. Then, when the interviewer shows her the tweet and asks her about it, she denies that she even did it. It was still on her Twitter! Just watch this liar…
Here’s the truth of the tweet…she meant it. And it’s not that she just said something out of context, she shared an article about the topic. The article is no longer live, but thanks to the good ol’ wayback machine, it’s still alive in the archives.

What’s interesting about this is that Dr. Oz is supposedly a Muslim. Now, he’s more of the what I’d call “nominal Muslim” in that he’s not educated enough about the Quran to actually understand what it teaches or anything. Essentially, it’s like how we have “nominal Christians” who don’t actually know anything about the bible, but claim to be Christians because maybe their parents were or because they went to church when they were a kid, but have no real understanding of Christian doctrine.
President Trump has formally endorsed Dr. Oz for Senate and stated that Barnette can’t win. After her recent numbers and this flub, I think he’s right.

Well, there I will disagree with you, somewhat. Judaism, & its “stepchild” Christianity are not like other “religions” (I’ve studied many others of them too, over 60+ yrs now, as well as those 2). It’s too complicated to fully explain here, but to start, Judaism did not “elevate itself over others”; being the “chosen people” only means they were selected for a particular task, over which failure to complete they have been, & are about to again be, chastised severely by Yhwh God. That task was to bring knowledge of Him, & His plan for redemption to the world. Instead, having God’s law, they kept it to themselves, until the foretold Redeemer came among them & exposed their failure. He then prepared & sent out 12 to take the Law & Gospel to the world & prepare others to continue the task, collectively called the Church, which has also failed, by doing much the same as the Jews had done; keeping it to themselves, in their churches. They did, however, plant churches all over the world, where any interested could go in, albeit not according to God’s plan & model. But the time for teaching, & free will choosing, is now drawing to its close. As a last “failure of both Judaism & Christianity, evil is now engulfing the world, & will reign for a limited time, during which judgment for humanity’s sins will be unleashed, in waves, over the whole Earth, at the end of which the Redeemer will return as He departed, to assume His rightful reign over the Earth. I hate to say it, I would have preferred the former ambassador, and she isn’t even in the running, not even close. I would think a former ambassador is more qualified to be a Senator than Dr. Oz. Oz is noting more than a Hollywood liberal with name recognition. All of a sudden Oz has found G-d and became a Republican. That doesn’t mean when it comes down to voting that Oz is going to side with the next Republican president whoever that might be. A perfect example is Manchin, When Manchin doesn’t like something, he votes against his party all the time. Oz is not originally from Pa. BTW, we still don’t know who won. (Don’t know when this article was written…..no date either.) And it’s very likely that Oz’s history of NOT being a conservative was limiting his appeal among Republican primary voters, and the coordinated smear jobs against Barnette caused undecided that might have gone to her, to go to the rich establishment businessman.
