The New York Times published fake news that Russia was paying the Taliban to kill American troops.

As it turned out the intelligence community found no evidence of that, however there are reports that Iran was paying Haqqani to kill American troops.

This emerged  following the December 2019 suicide attack at Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan, which killed two civilians and injured dozens more.

It is now being reported (But not yet verified) that was the reason President Trump decided to assassinate former Quds Force General Qasem Soleimani. It is alleged that Iran paid Haqqani for six attacks they made non Americans.

This destroys the Democrats’ narrative that the president refused to do anything about it. In fact President nTrump was never told about the Russians because the intelligence community did not find it credible.

Even so, the Democrats continued to bash the president based solely on a rumor he knew nothing about. But they also bashed Trump because he assassinated  Quds Force General Qasem Soleimani. That just proves to me that the Democrats choose political advantage over the best interests of this country and it’s citizens.

President Trump has been successful in reducing Iran’s ability to support terrorism while Barack Obama sent them tons of cash on pallets which he conceded would be used to promote terrorism.

So did John Kerry:

“I think that some of it will end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists. You know, to some degree, I’m not going to sit here and tell you that every component of that can be prevented.”

The intelligence community has confirmed 1,7 billion in payments to terrorists, other money has not been confirmed as of yet.

From The Daily Caller

CNN’s report comes after U.S. intelligence reports leaked accusing Russia of paying bounties to Taliban-backed fighters for attacks against U.S. soldiers. The White House said Trump did not act, arguing that there was a lack of consensus within the intelligence community (IC) over the veracity of the information. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany told reporters at a press briefing in June that Trump would act if the IC reached a consensus on the intelligence.
