Antisemitism is alive and well and thriving in the Democratic party. In fact, it would not surprise me if they were to boo Jews at the Democratic National Convention. They have already booed God, so the Jews are up next.

Ilhan Omar put out a political mailer against her opponent,  Antone Melton-Meaux. The mailer begins with the following question:

“Can We Trust Antone Melton-Meaux’s Money?”

They then read off a list of the donors contributing money to Melton-Meaux. Well, not all of them. Not even most of them. Only donations coming fro Jews. So, Jews only have crooked money and you can’t trust anyone the Jews donate money to? Sounds kind of bigoted to me. In fact, it sounds extremely bigoted.

Melton-Meaux, a pro-Israel Democrat, is just one of four candidates in the race for the Democratic primary. The mailer claims that Melton-Meaux in the pockets of the GOP, in the pockets of Wall Street and in the pocket of the medical industry. Because he supports Jews? How prejudiced can you get?

Rabbi Avi Olitzky, who has defended Omar in the past expressed his grave concern over her antisemitism. Gee, and he never knew she hated Jews before this? Has he not been paying attention to Omar, Rashidal Tlaib, AOC and Rep Pressley? Not to mention the rest of the Democrats?

“Most disappointing were the presence of tropes that we’d personally discussed as hurtful, as offensive, and that I received a commitment not only would it not happen again but education would take place to learn more as to why it’s a problem.”

Jewish progressive activist and Omar supporter Evan Stern said:

“The people who don’t want to see that are going back to this old attack on antisemitism, and it’s tired. The Jews in this district are tired. It’s bullshit.”

From Breitbart News

Omar, who has openly expressed support for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, has repeatedly come under fire for spreading anti-Semitic tropes, including a tweet in which she said “Israel has hypnotized the world” while doing “evil” – a remark she later apologized for.
