The New York Times‘ Peter Baker, the hack activist posing as a journalist, who additionally earned widespread recognition for his reporting on “Russia collusion,” wrote a “information evaluation” article on Sunday night titled: “Extra Than Ever, Trump Casts Himself because the Defender of White America.”

No one will ever ask the question, so I will.  Didn’t Baker lie to his readers each and every time he trashed the president over Russian collusion?  We found out after two-and-a-half years of non-stop bashing of this president that Russian collusion never happened.  Of course, Trump supporters knew this all along, but a bigger question is, did leftist activists who claim to be journalists know all along as well?

Baker dismissed Trump’s attempts to reach out to black Americans, and completely ignored a policy record that includes criminal justice reform with the First Step Act, Opportunity Zones, record-low black unemployment and poverty, and funding for historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

On HBCUs, the leaders of those schools were made to travel to Washington, DC every year and pretty much beg for money.  It was like making the trip to liberal Mecca.  Trump didn’t like the idea of them having to be humiliated that way, so on top of increasing funding more than any past president for their schools, President Trump added increased funding to the budget, so that every year the money would be there, and the leaders of the colleges could have the dignity back that past administrations took away from them.  You will never hear a New York Times hack mention that.

Baker completely threw aside every achievement Donald Trump fought for the black community.

“Not in generations has a sitting president so overtly declared himself the candidate of white America,” Baker wrote. As usual, Baker didn’t provide an ounce of evidence, nonetheless, settling instead for a Trump retweet of a criticism of Critical Race Theory.  Critical Race Theory is a bunch of left-wing nonsense that has a goal of convincing white people that the entire world is racist, and it’s their fault, even if they don’t know it or feel they’ve never done anything racist in their lives.

Baker continued: “The message appears designed to galvanize supporters who have cheered what they see as a defiant stand against political correctness since the days when he kicked off his last presidential campaign in 2015 by denouncing, without evidence, Mexicans crossing the border as ‘rapists.’”

That lie has been debunked numerous times as a hit job against Trump during is announcement that he was running for president.  The left-wing press changed a single word to change the entire meaning of Trump’s message.  They changed “their” to “they’re” during a statement made by Trump that ran through an iteration.

Here’s what Trump really said:

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best,” Trump said. “They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. Their rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”  They changed the last one from their to they’re in an effort to make him appear racist.  And they expect you to believe Trump thinks some rapists are are good people, because his very next statement was, “Some, I assume, are good people.”

Apparently Baker and the rest of Fake News don’t understand how iterations in the English language work.  By the third and final one you drop the “They’re bringing,” and it’s understood for the next iteration.  Who are we kidding?  They know that, they just changed the spelling to attack Trump.

They did the same thing when he called MS-13 gang members animals, intentionally takng him out of context by saying he called all Mexicans animals.

When trying to support Trump’s “overt” appeal to “white America,” Baker made up a bunch of gobbledygook about covert messaging:

“While he initially voiced concern over the killing of George Floyd under the knee of a white police officer in Minneapolis this spring, which touched off nationwide protests, he has focused since then almost entirely on defending the police and condemning demonstrations during which there have been outbreaks of looting and violence.

He has described American cities as hotbeds of chaos, played to “suburban housewives” he casts as fearful of low-income people moving into their neighborhoods, sought to block a move — backed by the Pentagon and Republican lawmakers — to rename Army bases named for Confederate generals, criticized NASCAR for banning the Confederate flag, called Black Lives Matters a “symbol of hate” and vowed to strip funding from cities that do not take what he deems tough enough action against protesters.”

Baker then concluded, without a single piece of evidence, that Trump is “reaching out to a subset of white voters who think the news media and political elites see Trump supporters as inherently racist,” thereby casting Trump supporters as, you guessed it, inherently racist.

On top of that, Baker quoted an NAACP official who said of Trump’s rhetoric: “It’s all dangerous, and it’s all potentially violent.”  Yeah, speech is violent, but the same people say nothing of the real violence going on in Democrat-run cities across the country.

In 2018, the New York Times staff shared the Pulitzer Prize for “deeply sourced, relentlessly reported coverage in the public interest that dramatically furthered the nation’s understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections to the Trump campaign.”  And it was all a bunch of lies.  No one yet has returned the prize of the money they received for duping the American people about our president.  They are shameless.

The Left took the country through a two-and-a-half year Constitutional crisis with the Russian collusion lies, and scumbags like Baker still haven’t apologized.

Dean Baquet, a Times executive editor, back in August of 2019 told Times staff that the rag would be shifting its focus from lying about Russian collusion to lying about racism.
