On Sunday, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said to “stay tuned” for more after releasing declassified records that revealed British former intelligence officer Christopher Steele’s main source for his anti-Trump dossier was the subject of a counterintelligence investigation by conducted by the FBI about a decade ago.

“There’s a day of reckoning coming just stay tuned, and there’s more coming, there’s something else coming, more damning than this believe it or not,” Graham said during an appearance with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo.   The Senate Judiciary Committee is running an investigation to get to the bottom of the origins of the Russia collusion probe simultaneously against an investigation being conducted by the Justice Department which is headed by US Attorney John Durham.

Late last week, Attorney General (AG) Bill Barr sent out a letter to Senator Graham divulging the declassified information about Steele’s primary sub-source. The AG additionally referred to what Graham may have been alluding to on Sunday.

“I have also alerted the Director of National Intelligence to certain classified information in the possession of the intelligence community, also brought to my attention by Mr. Durham, which bear upon the FBI’s knowledge concerning the reliability of the dossier,” Barr said in the letter. “Mr. Durham confirms that the disclosure of that information would not interfere with his investigation, and the Department otherwise defers to the DNI concerning the handling of this information.”

Here’s Senator Graham’s release statement:

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) today released a letter from Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe. DNI Ratcliffe responded to Graham’s request for intelligence community information regarding the FBI’s handling of Crossfire Hurricane.

“I appreciate DNI Ratcliffe responding to my request for any information concerning all things Russia in the 2016 campaign, not just alleged Trump-Russia involvement.

“Director Ratcliffe will make this information available in a classified setting. I will try to review the material as early as today.

“I look forward to speaking with Director Comey about this latest information, and many other topics, at tomorrow’s hearing.”
