There has actually been quite a bit of controversy in various professional sports over the last month or so.

I’ve written about one of them recently, and that one is the cheating incident that occurred during a fishing tournament.

What happened is that the two cheaters were stuffing weights into the fish so that they would weigh more.

After they were declared winners at the weigh-in at the Lake Erie Walleye Trail Championship (LEWT) in Cleveland, their fellow competitors found some bizarre items stuffed in their catches, TMZ reported. Video of the incident shows someone cutting open the fish and pulling out what appears to be lead weights and even the filets of another fish that the men had allegedly stuffed down the throats of their catches to make them heavier.

Multiple people can be heard urging someone to “call the cops” and file a police report over the alleged cheating scandal.

“You got thousands of f***ing dollars you stole from everyone!” someone accuses.

Apparently, this isn’t the first time that these men have been accused of cheating either.

The other incident of cheating that has been just as controversial and perhaps even been picked up on more news outlets in cheating in the world of professional chess.

The controversy started during a chess tournament known as the Sinquefield Cup that involved the top players in the world. During the tournament, the top player in the world, Magnus Carlsen, was beaten by a last minute addition to the tournament, Hans Niemann.

As the reigning champion and the highest rated player in history, Carlsen was not happy when he lost against Niemann, who was rated under 2700, which is the first time in a very long time that he’s lost to someone that low rated. I say low rated, but the fact is that none of us will ever get to that level.

While he didn’t announce it at the time, Carlsen suspected Niemann of cheating. Niemann has been caught cheating online in the past and has admitted to it, but said that he’s not cheated in over-the-board chess. Carlsen resigned from the tournament and later resigned after making on move against Niemann in another tournament.

Following that game, security increased and they began checking for RFID and other electronic devices on all of the players. Here’s where it gets funny.

During all of this controversy, one grandmaster made the joke that maybe he was using something up his butt that vibrated and signaled what moves to make. Well, that ended up turning into a real theory after so many people started talking about that, most notably Elon Musk who tweeted about it.

Then it happened. During a current tournament, Niemann could be seen having his butt inspected as he arrived to play in the tournament.

  • Cheaters never stop! They just find new ways the cheat! And are always afraid to have anybody check! Just ask the Democrats! Funny how they are fighting to not have the Dominion vote machines checked or the programs they run. Even after being caught red handed changing the voter data in Colorado by the Elections Clerk! Democrats want to prosecute the clerk for catching the criminals! Watch (S)election code on line it is free!

  • I’m going with nothing was done too them for the cheating because payoffs we’re made!! the absolute least that should be done is bar them from the sport on every level/ avenue, commercials, endorsements, events- everything
