After the mass shooting in California, the Biden administration is once again calling for gun control.

Because the Democrats are once again screaming for gun regulation, you know it’s election season. It appears that they are only concerned about it during election years. I mean, they’ve got to talk about something, right? They also require something to make the Republicans appear awful.

Their plan is to drive Republicans to vote against gun control legislation in order to make them appear terrible. They will attempt to cover all aspects since, as things stand, there may not be an issue that would motivate some folks to vote against a Republican, so they will say everything they can think of in order to get the most people to vote against them.

But, if you haven’t heard already, the shooting took place in Sacramento, California over the weekend. Take a look. I didn’t notice anything graphic in the video, just fighting. You can’t actually see anyone getting shot.

So being that it’s an election year and the fact that Democrats aren’t ones to let a tragedy go to waste, they are leveraging this incident to push gun control once again.

Here is what Biden said,

Today, America once again mourns for another community devastated by gun violence. In a single act in Sacramento, six individuals left dead and at least a dozen more injured. Families forever changed. Survivors left to heal wounds both visible and invisible.

I want to thank the first responders in Sacramento, and all those across the United States, who act every day to save lives. We know these lives were not the only lives impacted by gun violence last night. And we equally mourn for those victims and families who do not make national headlines.

But we must do more than mourn; we must act. That is why my Administration has taken historic executive action to implement my comprehensive gun crime reduction strategy — from standing up gun trafficking strike forces to helping cities across the country expand community violence interventions and hire more police officers for community policing.

We also continue to call on Congress to act. Ban ghost guns. Require background checks for all gun sales. Ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Repeal gun manufacturers’ immunity from liability. Pass my budget proposal, which would give cities more of the funding they need to fund the police and fund the crime prevention and intervention strategies that can make our cities safer. These are just a few of the steps Congress urgently needs to take to save lives.

Here’s the thing, which is still so obvious to everyone except Democrats…laws don’t stop criminals from breaking the law! It’s already a law that we aren’t allowed to shoot people, but does that stop criminals from doing it? Nope!

Even if “ghost guns” are made illegal, they will still exist. What good would that law even do, honestly? Where do you think they came from in the first place? Do they really believe that, with all the nonsense coming in from Mexico, guns aren’t making their way through as well? They appear to be willfully unaware of this truth. They simply want to make it easier to bring them into the country by easing the restrictions on immigrating into the U.S.

I guarantee that enacting gun control measures like this will not prevent shootings like this from occurring.

Should I even bring up the issue of “assault weapons” ban? We have semi-automatic firearms that we utilize for hunting, sporting activities, and self-defense. He’s using the term “assault weapons” to describe guns that aren’t genuinely assault weapons. By the Democrats’ definition, if it looks scary to them, it’s an assault rifle.
