Have you ever said something and eventually regretted having said it? Usually, this happens when we speak before we think. Ironically or not, this type of situation seems to happen a lot to politicians. We’re not totally certain why, but we have our hunches.

Most of these regrettable statements occur when an elected official attacks a member of the opposition party out of spite. In defense of their heartfelt ideology, whether it’s wrong or not, they spout off some senseless comments attacking their political rival.

Frequently, these statements come back to “bite them in the backside.” Oddly enough, the progressive left appears to be extraordinarily prone to such ill-advised comments. Joe Biden has certainly blasted off his own list of stupid statements.

But when you’re a member of the progressive left, your kowtowing leftist mainstream media will clean up your mess. However, the words cannot be erased from people’s minds. How Americans deal with these verbal attacks, false claims, and embellished stories is the problem.

Too many voters seem to ignore the reality of an all-too prevalent character flaw inherent in our politicians. They speak before they think. But instead of being held accountable, many Americans suffer from short-term memory loss.

We vote for them again and again. Joe Biden is the epitome of “ill-advised” or outright outlandish statements. He mastered the art of B.S. early on in his political career. Biden is a walking, talking, stupid statement machine. He’s a blundering fool.

As a perfect example, when, early in the COVID-19 pandemic, President Trump tried to save American lives by ordering travel restrictions on China, Biden called him xenophobic. By all accounts, this was the country where a potentially deadly virus originated.

In hindsight, U.S. officials should have slammed the door on Chinese people entering the country long before President Trump issued his policy. There wasn’t anything xenophobic about the policy. President Trump’s decision was made for one reason: to save American lives.

No one knows exactly how many people he spared the horrible deaths caused by this deadly virus, which China unleashed upon the world. Fast-forward to 2022, nearly three years to the day since this deadly coronavirus leaked out of a virology lab in Wuhan, China.

Ironic or not, China is experiencing yet another wave of infections. Despite Draconian measures to lockdown huge portions of their society, the Chinese Communist Party has failed to contain the virus it started.

Clearly, China’s so-called “zero COVID” policies have failed and failed miserably. Some estimates say that 250 million Chinese caught the virus when the zero COVID restrictions were lifted. The number of Chinese people currently infected with COVID-19 is disturbing.

It should be. Likewise, U.S. officials must weigh the consequences of allowing potentially infected people to travel freely in and out of our country. People traveling from China should face strict restrictions when entering the United States.

After witnessing what happened in the winter of 2020, any decision otherwise would be outrageous. So, for once in his two-year presidency, Joe Biden made a smart choice. He, or someone with more of a brain than he displays, decided to restrict travel from China.

We admit that this is a wise decision, regardless of who made it. There’s a strong indication that this policy should extend to other nations such as India as well. But there’s one big difference between today and January 2020, when President Trump handed down the exact same decree.

The corrupt mainstream media is hailing Biden’s travel restrictions as a “smart decision.” What these liberal kowtowing clowns fail to mention is that Biden called the same decision xenophobic three years ago. Talk about a comment coming back to “bite you in the a**.”

      • I’m paid $185 per hour to complete the task using an Apple laptop. I absolutely didn’t think it was conceivable, but my dependable buddy convinced me to give this straightforward chance a go after she made $26,268 in just 4 weeks working on it. • “Ironically”, because of how airlines operate, generally, Trump did not go far enough in his initial shutdown! He neededto shut down ALL incoming flights, & shipping, & ground travel from Mexico & Canada, entirely, or it was pointless virtue signling. People from China could as easily go to any intermediate hub & still come in freely carrying whaterver diseases, & nothing was stopped. Thenthere was the practice of intentionally bringingin”stranded Americans” from infected areas, to the not yet contaminated US: sheer stupidity! no matter what, nowhere was prepared to quarantine them, 1 of the 1st rules of infectious diseases is you never bring the contaminated to an uncontaminated area. it’s not brain surgery! You quarantine them in place, ’til you know they are not carrying or infectious, before allowing them into an uncontaminated area. So Trump’s move there was as “half-assesd” as many others that he claims as something more than they were.

    • Sandra – unfortunately, it was only a matter of time before COVID spread throughout our nation – with or without a travel ban. I’m glad Trump restricted flights from China, but I also recognize your POV (intermediate hubs).

Unfortunately, I believe many were already suffering from COVID in November and December of 2019, prior to the virus becoming publicized here in the states. A very strict travel ban may have slowed down in the inevitable spread by maybe a month or two, but I doubt it would have done much else.

  • The author missed the mark. It is not “short term memory loss.” The reason total hypocrisy comes so easy for the Democrats and the MSM is they live in a “10 second” echo chamber. Their only “reality” is what they are tweeting or saying and doing in front of a camera this moment. They rant about people comparing their previous comments and actions, claiming it is a dishonest practice of “what about-ism.”  It is off limits – it was more than 10 seconds ago.

  • You voted for this asshole shows how stupid Democrats are
And they still are too stupid to omit Biden is the worst president in US history. You Can’t Fix Stupid. Brandon Treason

  • Biden has been a failure his whole career worthless to humanity and needs to be gone, period. Stick him on a raft and send him out to sea.

  • Trump’s half-a$$ed response did not go near far enough, given the reality of modern air travel, & his propensity for bringing exposed people into the US, to questionable “quarantine” facilities. He should’ve shut down ALL incoming air traffic for 2 weeks at least, & held the exposed in quarantine where they were, for that long at least as well.

  • The reason Dems, liberals, and the MSM never learn from or admit to their mistakes and hypocrisy, is they live in a 10 second echo chamber. Their only reality is what they are tweeting, or saying and doing in front of a camera this moment. They rant about people comparing their previous comments and actions, claiming it is a dishonest practice of ‘what about-ism.’  “The only reality is what I am tweeting, saying or doing this moment.”
On the MSM side, in the 12 months before new owners took over, CNN did three (probably more) 30 minute panel discussions with Acosta, Toobin, Cooper, Stelter, Lemon and others. They truly believe being confronted and reminded of their previous tweets, comments and actions is “an evil discredited, conservative tactic of what about-ism.”
