In a way, it really does blow my mind how Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is still in Congress.

At the same time, I know that Democrats have a habit of cheating to win elections, plus the liberals in New York are gullible and in some cases just not the brightest fork in the barn (if you catch my drift).

Truth be told, I really thought that she would have been voted out this last election cycle because surely not that many people buy into the extremism that she and the squad preach, but I guess I really underestimated just how terrible and far-left the radical Democrats in New York really are.

I guess the thing is that there really haven’t been any candidates that stood out enough to overtake her in the elections…until now.

The person I’m talking about is a man by the name of Desi Cuellar. Like AOC, he is hispanic and he is also a former bartender. So based on those two things alone is just as qualified as AOC to become a Representative as she was back in 2018.

However, unlike Ocasio-Cortez, who by all accounts has enjoyed a remarkably comfortable, well-funded life for someone who so frequently touts her working-class street cred, Cuellar has also been homeless.

And, as he stated in a hard-hitting campaign ad that was released earlier this month, the real difference between himself and AOC is that he’s never seen himself as a victim. He has been able to work hard and make something of himself, thanks to the tremendous opportunities provided to him by the country he loves and is proud to call home.

He tells the story of working several jobs, including tending bar, to make ends meet.

“But I never thought of myself as a victim, or blamed systemic racism for my problems,” he explains in the ad. “I worked hard, and I never gave up.”

I sure hope that this man beats AOC. He seems like the everyday American and isn’t brainwashed with the garbage that she spews out on a daily basis.

I’m hopeful that Republicans can take back the Senate and the House in 2022, but I don’t think it will happen without honest elections.
