The mainstream media is having a field day over the recent kerfuffle that happened at an airport in which Senator Ted Cruz missed his flight.

The senator apparently missed his check-in window and was upset about it. Now liberals are blowing it out of proportion and are claiming that he got so confrontational that security had to be called.

According to The Daily Mail,

Cruz was spotted at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport shortly after noon on Sunday, apparently irritated by missing his flight, according to the Reddit user who first shared the short clip.

A representative for the airport confirmed to that a ‘frustrated’ Cruz had missed the check-in window for his flight, and that re-booking options were ‘limited out of Bozeman due to Spring Break.’

Cruz managed to rebook and depart later that evening, Bozeman airport deputy director Scott Humphrey said.

‘One of our Public Safety Officers (PSO) was in the ticket lobby and was asked to assist with a frustrated passenger at the United ticket counter (which is not unusual). The passenger had missed the check-in window for his flight and re-booking options were limited out of Bozeman due to Spring Break,’ Humphrey said.

‘Once travel options were explained to the passenger, he was rebooked and departed Bozeman later that evening. Our PSO didn’t realize he was dealing with Senator Cruz until after the fact. If you need more information, please contact United Airlines.’

Look at this video and see if you think that he looks like he’s causing a ruckus:

Honestly, I think that this is just a liberal hit piece in which they’re trying to make Ted Cruz look bad. Based on the video that we can see never looks like he loses his temper and never looks like he gets very confrontational to a degree that justifies springing in airport security. It just looks like he’s upset about missing his flight, which is understandable. Senators can be upset too.
