While CNN reporter Jim Acosta reported live from President Trump’s first campaign rally since his COVID-19 diagnosis, members of the crowd began chanting “CNN sucks.”

President Trump held a rally in Sanford, Florida on Monday – his first campaign stop in what will be a heavy travel itinerary.

This is his first time back on the campaign trail since he was released from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

As Jim Acosta reported live from the rally, discussing Trump’s current poll standings and highlighting the maskless crowd not adhering to social distancing guidelines, a few shouts of “CNN sucks” could be heard off-camera.

More Trump supporters quickly joined in the chant until it interrupted Acosta’s report:

“And as this crowd is chanting that there are members of the press here who suck,” Acosta said, “I should also point out what also sucks: Getting the coronavirus.”

AP News reported that President Trump’s energy and message remained unchanged since his hospitalization.

He boasted that he is now “immune” from COVID-19.

Trump’s doctor recently announced that the President has been testing negative for COVID-19 for several consecutive days.

“I feel so powerful,” Trump said. “I’ll walk into that audience. I’ll walk in there, I’ll kiss everyone in that audience. I’ll kiss the guys and the beautiful women…everybody. I’ll just give ya a big fat kiss.”

He praised his administration’s handling of the pandemic and the nation’s recovery since government shutdowns and rising cases began in March:

“Under my leadership, we’re delivering a safe vaccine and a rapid recovery like no one can even believe. If you look at our upward path, no country in the world has recovered the way we have recovered.”

In these final weeks leading up to the election, Trump will be campaigning in Pennsylvania, Iowa, North Carolina, Georgia, and Wisconsin. He will return to Florida on Friday for a rally in Ocala.
