Pretty Little Liars Star Keegan Allen Robbed at Gunpoint Outside West Hollywood Grocery Store

Actor Keegan Allen, known for his role on the ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars, says he was pistol-whipped and robbed by two masked men outside an upscale West Hollywood grocery store on Thursday night.

Allen, 37, posted a video to his Instagram account, where he has 8.3 million followers, showing blood running down his face and neck shortly after the attack. “I was just robbed of my watch outside of Laurel Supply,” he said in the video, appearing out of breath. “These two dudes hit me in the head and pointed a gun at me with a knife and then took off. They had masks on [and] they took my watch.”

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed deputies responded to a robbery call just after 9 p.m. at 8445 Santa Monica Blvd., the address of Laurel Supply. According to a department spokesperson, deputies “contacted a male adult, who stated he was approached by two male adults dressed in black clothing. One suspect pointed a silver handgun at the victim while the other pointed a knife and demanded the victim’s watch and bracelet.”

“Shortly after, the victim was struck in the face with the handgun. The suspects obtained the victim’s watch and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle,” the spokesperson said.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department evaluated Allen at the scene. He was not hospitalized immediately afterward, but later checked himself into a medical facility out of concern he had suffered a concussion.

In a follow-up social media post, Allen tagged West Hollywood Mayor Chelsea Byers’ office account, LA Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Gavin Newsom, writing, “Let’s hope all these flock cameras that… everyone thinks will stop crime can find these very dangerous criminals.”

West Hollywood operates as its own incorporated city within Los Angeles County, meaning it is policed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department rather than the LAPD, and falls outside the direct authority of Mayor Bass.

No suspects had been identified as of this report.
