The Milwaukee Brewers have taken a 2-0 lead over the San Diego Padres in their postseason series, winning both games on the road before the matchup shifts to San Diego, California, for the remaining contests.

Milwaukee, which finished the regular season with 103 wins, came from behind in Game 1 and again in Game 2. In the Game 2 finale, the Brewers trailed by one run in the bottom of the ninth inning and faced San Diego closer Mason Miller. Miller walked three batters, and Jackson Chourio delivered a two-run single that gave Milwaukee the win.

Game 1 featured an unusual play at Milwaukee’s ballpark. With the roof closed, Padres player Ty France hit a deep fly ball to left field that struck the roof. The Brewers caught the ball for an out, a ruling that prevented San Diego from taking the lead in that game.

With the series now moving to San Diego, the Padres must win all three remaining games to take the series. San Diego holds an edge in starting pitching and has performed well at home this season, while Milwaukee has shown itself to be one of the stronger road teams in baseball this year.
