The Philadelphia Eagles travel to Nashville today to face the Tennessee Titans in a Week 2 NFL matchup at Nissan Stadium, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET.
Tennessee enters the game looking to bounce back after a 23-10 loss to the New York Jets in Week 1. Quarterback Cam Ward and the Titans will face a Philadelphia team that opened its season 1-0 with a narrow win over the Washington Commanders.
Titans head coach Robert Saleh acknowledged the size of the challenge ahead. “There’s a lot of weapons on that football team,” Saleh said. “Defensively, they’ve got explosive players all over the place. It’s going to be a tremendous challenge.”
BetMGM Sportsbook lists Philadelphia as a seven-point favorite heading into the game.
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni’s team has reached the playoffs in eight of the last nine seasons. After the Week 1 win over Washington, Sirianni became the fifth head coach in NFL history to win his first six season openers. He told his team afterward, “Really good job. We were resilient and played good … football.”
Philadelphia and Tennessee have not played often in recent years. Their last meeting came in December 2022, when quarterback Jalen Hurts threw for 380 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-10 Eagles win.
